Nissan GT-R, the car which is on many Gerahead’s top wish lists, has a lot in common with one of the most famous luxury sports car, Ferrari FF, even though it may not appear to be like that from a first look. Both of these speed-beasts have very similar performance, as well as their engine’s horsepower. But numbers and statistics are one thing, and the real life action is something that gives us the best perspective about it. That is why today we are showing you one interesting video, in which you will get a closer look from a drag race between these two, but from a rather different perspective than what we are used to.
As above mentioned, if you are looking at their specs on paper, ‘The Italian Stallion’, Ferrari, seems to have the advantage, with 3.1 kilograms on each HP, whilst the Godzilla is placing 3.4 kilograms on each HP. Also, thanks to the naturally aspired V12, the Ferrari seems to have a better acceleration. But in a real drag race, things do not appear exactly like that, as you are about to see in the video below. I do not want to be a spoiler and tell you the ‘whole story’ about it, but I will only mention that when it shifts from 1st to 2nd gear, Nissan GT-R is loosing a little bit of its traction, which has its toll.
Also, when it comes to other real life aspects, one should not neglect the fact that the Ferrari FF is coming with a price tag, (at least) three times higher than the Nissan GT-R R35. But let’s put all of that aside and check out this interesting comparison video.
