Ford presented their tribute to the glorious Batmobile at San Diego`s Comic-Con, the pickup version “The Crimefighter”.

This super truck is a result out of Ford`s collaboration with Galpin Auto Sports. There is a funny background purpose for the building of this model. In case Batman has to transport something really heavy and bulky, here he has his magnificent pickup truck. It was designed by the largely known customer, George Barris.

The chosen model fit to wear the “Crimefighter” name is the 2012MY F-150. It was painted in Tuxedo Black. There was an additional appeal added to it with the Ferrari Red accents.

It seems like this week`s debut is successful. There seems to be already orders given. This Batmobile would be definitely cheaper than the 1966 version priced at 4.62M USD.
