At a snow drag race in Michigan you are about to see a classic drag battle between a truck that was built and a truck that was bought. I wonder how many hours and how much money were put into that old Chevy Blazer. The owner of the Raptor, on the other hand, just went to a Ford dealership and drove off with the truck in the same shape. Did the Blazer come off the lot like that? Not a chance.
The event is called the Griztek Snow Challenge and is held every year in March in the state of Michigan at a ski resort. The rules of the race are simple: the first one that gets to the top of the hill is proclaimed the winner. The old K5 Chevy Blazer is on the inside lane and blasts out of the gate like it’s on steroids or something.
On the other hand, the driver of the Ford Raptor looked like he is having a relaxed Sunday drive! You never hear any engine roar and it seems as if he just sliding his way slowly up the snowy hill. By the time he makes it around the first corner the race is pretty much over.
