18 Wheeler Drag Racing Trucks Included In NHRDA Diesel Nationals FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! Pretty Sweet SEEING THESE MONSTERS ROLLIN COAL Down The Strip!!!

Earlier there was an announcement that allowed the 18 wheeler to race in the NHRDA and they got it right. Now the owners of these large drag racing trucks that are used for towing trailers are up to race in the 18 wheeler NHRDA Diesel Nationals competition and it is the greatest one ever. We all know that everybody wanted to see these rigs to race because they are so large and so powerful and there is black smoke coming like from the coal rollers. It is so because all these rigs are diesel monsters that have been so much modified that some of them reach the 1000+ HP mark. This is astonishing and seeing one in a race is the best thing.

These races are not made to see which one is the faster truck, but to see which rig will be louder and more powerful in the 18 wheeler NHRDA competition. There are too much money spent on these drag racing trucks and the parts that are mounted on the engine are all custom-made. The only problem that some of these rigs have is the transmission that on most it is the stock one. It is a problem because there are so many gears on the 18 wheeler and they are short. Being a short gear means that the driver needs to shift the gears more than the usual and that is making the truck slower.

Here you can see on the race when the driver is shifting gears the black smoke is gone from the exhaust and after the next gear is on again the driver steps on the gas pedal and acceleration begins. This process is slowing down the truck but it is great to see them racing and it is great to see these mad machines racing on the drag strip where they belong.
