This is a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda that is going to make your lips stick and your stomach ache because it is so sick looking that Jay Leno is left almost without words here. He is trying to explain how the car was delivered here and why this particular built idea has been used on the HURST Barracuda. This is one of the less only left Cudas in the world and he has made the most of it.
It is like he says, sometimes cool stuff just shows up and there is no running from it, you need to go with the flow and make the best job that you can do on that particular “cool car” that you have gotten. This is the same 1967 Plymouth Barracuda that has been seen at the SEMA Motor Show a couple of years ago and made huge waves in the garage builder’s history too. Chris is the man responsible for the appearance of the car and he is the one that is going to tell us more about the build, the model and the engine of the car too.
He is the VICE President of the B&M Performance Company and representative of the HURST. Back in the 1960s this car has been stormed in the Nationals races and it has been rebuilt just to show the same spirit of that time. The team wanted to show what this car was doing back in the days and also to show what HURST has been doing these days. Kind of a past to future mix up where the things get a little bit more interesting.
Many of the people don’t know that the Plymouth Barracuda has come to this world two weeks before the Ford Mustang did but it didn’t create so much of a fuss because the Mustang already had its buyers lined up.
