In this Ignition episode of Motor Trend, Carlos Lago tests the new 2015 Nissan Nismo GT-R, the most powerful and best-driving GT-R car.

The Nismo GT-R was recently addressed at the Best Drivers Car Competition, where it finished fourth and the fastest time set at Laguna Seca. Back then, they were not really in the driving characteristics of the Nismo GT-R so it is good that Carlos Lago and driver Randy Pobst are testing the car both on the street and the track.

The modified aerodynamics gives the Nismo GT-R 100 kg extra downforce and by being put on a light diet, the GT-R weighs 1,720 kg. The 3.8-liter V6 twin-turbo engine thanks to bigger turbos now delivers 600 hp and 652 Nm of torque, but that extra power does not even makes such an impression on both men. It is mainly the new parts for the suspension which impresses, the handling and precision is something that one really needs to talk about.
