It is always good for the eyes to see a preserved old school car with just few modern accents on it. That’s exactly what these guys from California Wheels are doing. They preserved the stock details on the three Chevys just adding modern wheels and tires and painting the cars.
The red car is 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, the blue is 1995 Chevrolet Impala and the brown one is 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The guys tried not to ruin the spirit of the car keeping as much as possible of the stock look and it’s obvious, they succeeded.
On the 1972 Chevelle SS there aren’t many modifications, just adjusted suspension to be achieved the perfect stance. Also the wheels are replaced with 22” GFG Torino wheels with chrome accents, 22” x 9” front wheels and 22” x 11” back wheels. And that’s it.
On the 1972 Monte Carlo is not made any customization, just the bumpers and the front grill are painted to match the color of the wheels. The replaced wheels are set of 22” Asanti AF116 wheels with a satin black center and deep 5” gloss black lip, 22” x 9.5” front wheels and 22” x 11” back wheels.
On the 1995 Impala nothing is touched just is made full make up, as you can see the steering wheel is replaced and the wheels are 24” Forgiato Rasoio wheels; 24” x 9” up front, 24” x 10” in back, with a classy chrome and blue finish.
