This is probably one of the most desirable muscle cars in the whole world, 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda 4-speed Convertible. Only eleven of these were built and only two were sold here in United States and the video that you are about to see is from this summer’s Mecum Auction block at the CenturyLink Field Event Center in Seattle, Washington, where the car was sold for unbelievable 3.5 million dollars.
This car represents the best out of the golden era of muscle cars from the 60s and the 70s and the HEMI is a pure example on everything that was happening in that same period, in the horsepower race between the major car manufacturers. And the model from 1971 is considered to be the Mopar’s pick in that field.
But if you want to find out more details about why there were only 11 units produced from this Convertible model, all of the specs about the car and feel the thrill and the suspense that was going on during the auction, watch the following ten minute video. It is a pure delight.
