Brace yourselves my friends because you’re about to witness something extremely wild and crazy. Here is a video that we found featuring a turbocharged Perodua Myvi driving like mad on the highway and chasing after random cars. The owner of the Myvi is obviously very proud and secure with his vehicle so he decides to chase after powerful sports cars such as the Nissan GTR R35 and later a Toyota MR-S.
In case you’re not familiar with this car, the Perodua Myvi has been produced in Malaysia since 2011. This compact five-door hatchback of a second generation is a licensed copy of the model Daihatsu Boon. Differences with the Daihatsu Boon are the design on the front end and the interior. The engine in the Myvi is the same as the Japanese equivalent – a 1.3-liter (91 hp) with variable valve timing mated to a manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic. Perodua Myvi is sold not only in Malaysia, but also it is exported to some of the right-hand drive countries such as the UK, Indonesia, Cyprus.
We couldn’t see how fast this turbocharged Myvi was going but it was definitely a lot. See for it yourself on the following video:
