DREADFUL SOUND!? A Quick Look At The Rare Street Version Of The 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda!

It’s been a while since we last met you Barracuda, and now we are glad we found you in excellent stock condition and with AAR’ emblem on the sides that means “All American Racers”. This 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda was a year model which means it was produced only during that year so here we have real rare masterpiece.

Maybe the name doesn’t sound mighty AAR, but believe us, this car has racing genetics and was originally manufactured to compete with the Ford Mustang at SCAA road racing. This 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda came with the 5.6-liter V8 “six-pack”, yeah, that means 6-barrel carburetors and capable of producing 290bhp @5.00rpm and 335lb-ft of torque @3.400rpm. The AAR Cuda can accelerate from 0 o 60 mph in just 5,8 second and reach 100mph in 14,4 seconds, that means the car can race a quarter mile in just 14,4 seconds with the 100mph speed.

The famous AAR stripe on the sides was called a strobe stripe. At the end are AAR letters and next to them the Cuda logo, same as on the model shown on the video. But what impress us the most was the sound of the exhaust, we bet it is custom replaced because that sound is dreadful. Watch the video bellow and see this rare American muscle boy and hear how he can sing.
