Have you ever wondered and asked yourself this question: Why so many car enthusiast, amateur and pro racers are using superchargers instead of turbos? We might have the answer!
We bet that we have the right one with detailed description – How the supercharger made by the American Company ProCharger works!
At the very beginning we want to distinguish the difference between the turbos and the superchargers: The turbos use the engine’s heated gas from the hot exhaust, that’s why the turbo lag occurs. When the temperature is high the impellers of the turbo are active and start to induct oxygen! On the other side the Supercharger’s impellers are moved by a belt, there is no lag of efficiency and the oxygen induction process starts immediately from the moment the engine is started, without causing any additional heat!
The engineering behind the ProCharger supercharger is a little mystery and why so many racers choose it but the video bellow will completely guide you to each part of the supercharger and explain you in details how it actually works. We hope that we resolve one mystery for you!
Enjoy the video folks and if you plan to upgrade your car then you might want to consider this part as a must on your list with upgrades!
