When it comes to drifting, there are people that do it for fun. And it is fun, and the smell of the tires is nice as well, but there are people, drivers, or racers if you will, that compete in the drifting competition. This is a serious race, and only the most skilled drivers can do it.

Maybe you can drift for a hundred meters or so, but this amazing driver drifted his car for 51.2 miles. Now do you think you are a good drifter? The drift was accomplished with a not a new car, it was a BMW M5, production date from 2013. It is not the car that will make the drift, it is the driver. BMW has a rear wheel drive, and it makes it perfect for drifting.

Now the new drifting record, by Guinness, is 322.5 laps at once. Or in two hours, it doesn’t matter, the old record was in Abu Dhabi, UAE, but now this skilled driver gave it back to the USA where it really belongs, to the real drifters and racers. Check out the video here:
