We have seen countless modified Nissan GTRs by now, but this particular sample of the Nissan GTR R35 has taken a very exuberant progress. It is our great pleasure to present you the extraordinary Elysium GTR built by the SRT Auto Group.
The 2013 science fiction movie Elysium with Matt Damon in the lead role, is set in the year 2154. In this film, Matt drives around with a 140-year-old Nissan GTR R35 which is equipped with armor, bars on the windows and all kinds of equipment on the roof suggesting that the GTR can almost drive independently.
The guys at the Canadian tuning studio SRT Auto Group have made a replica of the car featured in the movie Elysium, comprising obviously one of the amazing widebody kits provided by Liberty Walk, air suspension, FiExhaust system, a fresh new set of matte black PUR 2WO monoblock forged wheels, 10.0 x 20 up front and a pair of staggered 11.0 x 20s at the rear. The exhaust system by FI Exhaust comes with valve as standard including the company’s intelligent ECU system which controls the valve by engine RPM or via remote control.
This all resulted with the Elysium GTR to have all the appearance that the car in the film had. Its hardened exterior is enhanced by the car’s growling 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged engine.
We have seen the movie Elysium many times so we can say that this replica is very successful, but if it still doesn’t satisfy the taste of the GTR fans, it can always debut in a new Mad Max movie and The Walking Dead.
Man, I just love this custom GTR style! How about you guys? Check out the one of a kind Elysium GTR on the following video and tell us what you think of this customized Nissan GTR R35 with post-apocalyptic looks.
