You would think that to get some material to be strong and durable, you will need a lot of layers of metal and that would make it very heavy. But we assure you that you have never seen a material like this, so strong, light, flexible and durable.

From the Boeing Company claim that the material is made by 99.99% of air, it is truly unbelievable and you need to watch the video in order to get how this material works. They call it the microlattice, and the name fits it. The Boeing engineers are comparing this material with the human bones, because as they say, the material is strong on the outside and in the inside there is only air.

The engineers say that if you wrap an egg with this material, and you throw the egg from the 25 floor of the building, the egg will be protected. We don’t know how true this statement is but we were amazed by what we saw in the video. So now there are plans to use the material in the aircraft industry and make the planes lighter and stronger.
