To say we were lucky or unlucky is quite a relative thing. This compilation of videos with people who have had much luck (as a matter of seconds or millimeters), makes us think how life is tenuous. A little more or a little less, if have left five minutes later or have gone in another direction brings the old philosophical question of freedom and free will against fate.

So when we say lucky, we are – in a sense – saying that someone escaped from his misfortune, his bad omen, or escaped from an unfavorable destination.

The whole question, philosophical, raises the way we look at life. Philosophical hermeneutics, we talk about horizon perspective. After all, is the world chaotic and an endless series of random events or is an ordered whole, with laws and rules (physical and metaphysical) which has itself an intrinsic sense? Or a combination of both?
