The first thing that we are going to need in order to build the homemade jet engine is the alcohol that is going to be the fuel of the engine. One bottle will be enough to start with and you will buy a lot more when you see the engine running. Then we are going to need a jar as well, together with the top and later you will see why. Start with drilling a 6 mm hole on the top of the jar. After drilling the hole on the top of the jar, pour little of the alcohol that you bought in the jar and put the lid on the top. Now you are done building the homemade jet engine. You don’t think so? Just place the lid lighter on top of the hole that you made and you are going to start a fire inside the jar. There is that jet engine sound that is coming and actually it is really loud. It sounds like a real jet engine that has been home and it is working too. The sound comes from the air that is entering so fast in the jar in order to keep that alcohol burning. You will find a purpose for the homemade jet engine for sure, just give it a little time.
