Recently, the guys at JPC Racing scored a new quarter mile record for the 2011 + Mustang 5.0 by hitting 170 mph in 8.02 seconds at the NMRA Finals in Bowling Green, KY. Hardly a long period has passed and the JPC produced even higher results. This Maryland based shop tested this vehicle on their home track, the Maryland International Raceway. Justin Burcham managed to pull a 7.94 ET at 172.8 mph at the very start.
The same setup as at the NMRA event last week was adjusted, such as 17 psi from the single Precision 76mm turbocharger. Only the transmission was branded.
There is some more good news. Burcham believes that this Mustang can pull much more than this. We are eager for more surprises.
