LBZ Duramax Monster: WHITE SMOKE And HIGH SPEED At Byron Diesel Drag Day!!! Runs A BEST TIME Of 11.27@119.85mph!!!

LBZ Duramax produced in a short range from 2006 to 2007 but it was thought as the “hot rod” engine thanks to its potential so that’s why we are not surprised to see a modified 2006 Chevy Duramax on the drag track competing as outrageous beast.

The LBZ Duramax performance were outreaching the competitor’s capabilities back in the days because this 6.6-liter V8 engine is pumping amazing 360HP and 650lb-ft of torque. Of course the owner wouldn’t ride to Byron Diesel Drag Day if his truck was not strengthened and armored to the “teeth”.

Completely Stock Junkyard as the owner named his beast actually is packing 6.6 Duramax LMM engine but not in the stock condition! This LMM Duramax has a STg2R VGT Turbo – Single Danville Performance Billet 68mm, 250% Exergy over-injectors and 12mm CP3 pump. Also it has Danville Performance SunCoast-Trans with 1024 converter and all of these kits are installed by the owner.

Honestly, for a self-made drag racing truck this 2006 Chevy Duramax is amazing. Just look at his body, nothing special which can be pointed, not even the tires are special nor the suspension but the truck is hitting quarter mile in 11.72 seconds at 119.76MPH! That’s something!

In our opinion it doesn’t matter if it’s a LBZ Duramax or LMM Duramax because the difference between them is only 5HP and 10lb-ft of torque, what matters is their racing capability which is proven once again in this video. Another thing that we noticed on this LMM Duramax is the engine sounds which reminds on a gasoline old-school V8 muscle engine.

So, hit the play below and let’s give a try to this Completely Stock Junkyard truck to prove itself on the drag track. If you can guess how many horses is counting in this shape feel free to share with us because we couldn’t reach that information.
