He has consistency in his driving and he still does the 10 seconds run on the strip. It is so amazing to see Richard Hutchins racing again because he announced to be retiring few years back and now he is flying again on the race track. That’s why we are saying that racing is addictive, once you have started to do it there is no coming back of the road. You will always want to feel that HP under the hood and that throttle pedal dancing beneath the foot. It is the love for the drivers and we all like it.

The red 1973 VW truck that has been made for Richard Hutchins has the blown engine that is quite the racer too. When he aligns it on the traffic lights and waiting for green to start the race, there are flames coming from the two exhaust pipes. They are two straight tubes on top of the cabin of the truck which have the flamers at the tips. It is the amusement that has been created by the driver Richard Hutchins and the audience went crazy about him. He even did the wheelie with the truck in whole quarter mile run. That’s why he gets to be the king the of drag racing world. There is no other driver that can drive a race truck across the track with the 10 seconds time on the board and with the two front wheels up in the air the whole time. Cool man with a cool racer, it is so worth watching again.
