His perception completely changed though, during a weekend at Cadwell Park two years ago. He was there as a TV presenter of the coverage for the both BRSCC Mazda MX-5 racing championships. The very sight of seeing several Mazda MX-5 Mk1s racing on the track for the first time in his life that made such a change in Woodwiss’ opinion of the MX-5 and what the car represented, that it turned him into a big fan of this car.
