Just a few days ago was achieved another amazing world record with the 2015 Ford Mustang GT. The tuning studio Bama Performance built this mean machine with its 93 octane track tune to set a world record, passing the 1/4 mile in 11.2 seconds at speed of 121 miles per hour! With this record, this is the fastest naturally aspirated Mustang in the world. The record was made at the Maryland International Raceway.
The guys from Bama Performance have been working non-stop on tuning the Mustang and the hard work has definitely paid off very well with this new world record time for the Mustang.
Some of the modifications made on the Mustang GT are: fully custom made exhaust system; JLT cold air intake; upgrades on the suspension featuring custom fabricated components, while the passenger seat and rear seat were removed for a minor weight reduction.
