PERFECT ’69 Cuda – See This Baby On The Drag Strip At Kil-Kare Raceway!

The Cuda was introduced in 1969 as the top performing Barracuda. This muscle car has 440ci/375 horsepower engine under her hood and it performs up to 103.2 mph Quarter Mile in 13.89 seconds with zero to sixty in a stunning 5.6 seconds. But all that was when it was introduced to the world in 69’. Now we can see many of this ‘Cuda old timers have been tuned in  garages and made into powerful muscle cars.

Today we will review this green ’69 Cuda 340 that showed some serious power on the Kil-Kare Raceway. Finishing with 11.65 at 115, this ’69 “fish” is showing higher performance than the usual ’69 Cuda, so that means that the owner has made some serious changes to this car. I don’t have any information on what kind of improvements were done to the engine, so I can’t say much about how this ‘Cuda is showing such high performance. What I do know, however, is that this ‘Cuda definitely has something hiding under that hood that is making it go much faster than normal. Most likely a turbo charger which was added to the engine and I’m sure that the engine was chip tuned so that gave it some good bust. But I’m only guessing in the dark and what has really been done to the car remains a mystery.

Overall the car looks great and it runs incredibly fast, that is all I can say for certain. Nonetheless, custom tuned muscle cars are always a pleasant sight to see.
