Does this sound like a fantasy to you, yeah, it sound the same to us! Imagine burnouts on plastic asphalts, damn the drag beasts would melt them. But it seems like they are more resistant and the Dutch city of Rotterdam may be the first city in the world that will adopt the plastic roads.

As the inventor company, VolkerWessels claims the future plastic roads would be more ecological than the ordinary asphalt roads, easier for installing and more resistant compared to the traditional.

Also they claim this roads would be made from recycled plastic bottles and would carry on more successful with the extreme weather temperatures in wide range from -40 degrees to +80 Celsius degrees.
