The Nissan GT-R has been recently a real “bang, wide mouth” for many high-flying supercars with much higher prices than the Godzilla. Yes, you may not have the design, exclusivity or charisma than most elite segment, and perhaps not convey the same passion, but its performance, speed or high dynamic performance qualities are indisputable, and all at a reasonable price (not affordable for all budgets).
A good proof of this is that you have on the following video, where the Nissan GT-R,the king of kings, is facing the Bugatti Veyron 16.4. The technological arsenal of the 1,001 hp Veyron and capacity allow acceleration and a top speed, almost unparalleled. But the Nissan GT-R is not far short, so we wonder if the Nissan GT-R is prepared against the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 totally out of the factory. We have the answer just below.
Logically both sports models are not comparable in many ways, but perhaps the pure acceleration from standstill of the Nissan GT-R could weather the storm without blushing too. We have already seen how the 2012 Nissan GT-R is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km / h in under 3 seconds with its 550 hp, just a few tenths slower than the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 despite having about half this power.
If you want to know the result of this drag race, where the GT-R and Veyron face in the quarter mile (0-400 meters), do not fail to see the following video. We won’t tell you who wins, but the results are too tight, more than we could imagine at first, but the driver of the Nissan GT-R seems to take a few hundredths to rip off effectively. Of course, by the time the Bugatti Veyron can rest easy, and it is still difficult to find a rival that really makes you bite the dust …
