Cars are powerful. What’s even more powerful is trucks. But when was the last time you thought about weighing the strength of a truck to that of the jaw of a swamp alligator?

This video shows you exactly that as the truck driver stumbles upon an alligator lying in the grass which is visibly disturbed by the truck’s appearance. The driver then provokes the alligator by driving slowly towards it which only results in the alligator ripping the front bumper and fender apart in one single pull. Talk about real strength. The driver, certain YouTube user keet246 who is also the one recording the video is clearly upset as the alligator seems to pull back with his trophy of having stood up to the truck. The strength of this creature’s jaw is truly remarkable. This is also the driver’s fault as he should’ve simply reversed instead of further provoking the alligator. Retaliation was inevitable as one can see. A lesson is definitely to be learned from this video and that is, don’t underestimate your opponent even if you’re behind the big wheels of a truck. A front bumper will be a small price to pay considering how much worse the situation could’ve been had the driver been on foot.
