Years of production: 1978 – 1981

BMW M1 is a sports car, manufactured by BMW from 1978 to 1981. In all there were 456 copies. In the late ‘70s, Lamborghini entered into an agreement with BMW to build a race car. Thus was launched the road version of the machine. Of course, the production capacity of the young firm BMW Motorsport GmbH was not enough to independently design and build such a car.
