The 10 Best GM CARS Ever Made In History! Which One Of These Cars Is Your FAVORITE DRIVING TOOL?!

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

With the Super Sport option of the Chevelle, Chevrolet entered the raging battle between American muscle cars. Chevelles from early 1964 and 1965 had a Malibu SS emblem on their rear quarter panel. The mid-1965 Z16 models had a SS emblem on the front fender and in-house style numbers: 737 on hardtops and 767 on convertibles. The 283 cui four-barrel V8 engine delivered output of 220 horsepower. Chevrolet offered the Super Sport option for the convertible and hardtop Malibu cars. This option added brightwork on the exterior with SS badges together with 14-inch full-disc wheel covers. The interior of the car had a floor console for models with the Powerglide 2-speed automatic or the optional Muncie aluminum 4-speed manual transmission.
