2008 Chevrolet Malibu

The 2008 Chevrolet Malibu debuted with a front fascia design characterized by a wide front grille which was split horizontally by a chrome bar. This was done with the intention to make the Malibu’s front end look like Chevrolet’s trucks. What’s important about the car is the fact it was the first vehicle from GM that seriously took on the imported cars that started arriving on the U.S. shores thirty years earlier. The remodel underwent extensive design and engineering, and it proved that the quality craftsmanship used in the Cadillac CTS wasn’t a fluke.
