When dealing with breaking world records, the name of the game is Ekanoo Racing. These talented guys have taken a doctorate in tuning different cars, and of course one of them is the Nissan GTR, which as it is known calls for improvement. The last record noted by the Godzilla was last March, completing the quarter mile in 7.2 seconds (325.37 km / h). Well this time the GTR was a little sooner at the end of the quarter mile, as its time was 7.168 seconds, coming with speed of 336.44 km / h.
This particular Nissan GT-R, tuned by the tuning studio EKanoo Racing, set a new world speed record for serial car, which underwent through some aftermarket revision. The GTR crossed the quarter mile (402 meters) in 7.168 seconds and clocked with a speed up to 336.44 km / h.
The record was set in the second race at the Championship drag racing in Bahrain. The engine of the T1 Nissan GT-R has been finalized by the team at Magnus Motorsports together with Wayne Potts, while the chassis was tuned by Josh Ledford. In addition, the suspension of the Japanese sports car has also been improved, so this Nissan GTR R35 received a large number of racing components.
As a result, its engine power has been increased to 2000 hp (1491 kW), which made it possible to set the new world record. The experts at EKanoo Racing noted that the performance of Nissan GT-R was the first run of this car after having a comprehensive revision.
