This electric concept car with 750 horsepower and a range of 500 kilometers has been presented at the Concours d’Elegance at Pebble Beach in California.
The Vision Mercedes Maybach 6 is capable to accelerate from 0 to 100 km in less than four seconds and reaches a maximum speed electronically limited to 250 km / h. The Vision has a rapid charging system that achieves a range of 100 kilometers in just five minutes. The battery that drives it has a power of 80 kWh. It can be recharged in the public network, home or wireless (the latter option by an electromagnetic field). Daimler says that this model comes with the ultimate in luxury and is the first coupe of the prototype series, with visionari design, which plans to submit in the coming days to respond to the demands of current and future market.
The design of this prototype is sensual and emotional because of its long hood, low roofline and aerodynamics reminiscent of classic coupes. The gull-wing doors, 24-inch wheels, red body color and the radiator grille, inspired by a striped suit, are some of the main features of the exterior design. The touch of exclusivity is provided by exterior mirrors which have been designed as cameras.
The Mercedes-Maybach 6 Vision is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding customers and offer a sublime driving experience. To do this, it incorporates the most advanced technology of the moment. Both concepts are part of the DNA of Mercedes-Benz since the automobile has been invented 130 years ago and are very present in this new prototype.
