In March 2007, Jacques Auger decides to build a miniature truck for the Christmas parade in Laurier-Station, Quebec, where is his place of residence, together with Donald Gingras, a friend of his. In the beginning of the project, Auger and Gingras had the initial idea to take a golf cart as a base and endow it with “a tractor pulling a tank” appearance. However, from the beginning of the implementation of the project, the idea has emerged to provide a truck scale as close as possible to a real truck pulling a tank like fleet trucks from Transport Jacques Auger inc.
The architect of the achievement was actually Donald Gingras who was assisted by several subcontractors working on this project. It took the team 2,850 hours to complete the implementation of the Mini Kenworth tanker and its scale 1:2.2.
