Can you just imagine the picture, a 1960 Chevy dealership? Try to roll back in time and imagine it with people inside dressed in the 60’s style looking at the cars with amazement. Maybe we are 2016, almost 60 years ahead of that epic story but you don’t need to imagine it anymore because an abandoned 1960’s Chevrolet dealership full with cars is going to be re-opened soon in Pierce, Nebraska.
Thanks to VanDerBrink Auctions, this endemic piece of history will see light of the day and continue existing like 50 years ago. The most unbelievable fact is that inside the Chevy dealership everything is untouched since the moment it is left. All the documents, inventory and cars are still there.
Inside you will be able to see a 1957 Chevy truck, 1960 Chevy Impala, Corvette, 1958 Chevy Bel Air and more cars with less than 5 miles mileage! That’s unbelievable. It’s unbelievable when you will see the interior on the oldest inhabitant of the dealership, the 1957 Chevy truck, it’s still with plastic and has only 1.3 miles mileage!
From outside they are dusty and look like old garbage but when you’ll dig inside you’ll see red interiors, white interiors still covered with plastic. On the Corvette even the steering wheel was still covered with plastic!
What to say, we hope that soon we’ll be able to visit this 1960 Chevy Dealership and enjoy the history in present time, for sure it would be an unforgettable experience. In our opinion these cars should be restored (the engine’s started, cleaned from the dust and polished) and put back inside while the shop should be a museum because it is one of kind!
