2013 Ford Shelby GT500 Review!

Let`s dabble in what the new 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 has to offer to customer market. Its new aluminum block 5.8-liter supercharged V8 engine is bliss. It delivers a total of 662 horsepower at 6250 rpm and 631 lb-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm.

This particular performance package option is priced $3,495. It further includes sportier springs, electronic adjustable Bilstein dampers featuring Normal and Sport select modes via cock-pit button, external engine oil cooler, larger anti-roll bars, rear diff cooler and transmission cooler.

In comparison to Camaro ZL1’s magnetorheological suspension system, the Shelby`s is pretty amazing.

A new Launch Control system has been adjusted to it.

SVT engineers are doing their best in making the most powerful Shelby GT500, and in the meantime not loading it unwanted weight. In current condition, the vehicle weighs 3,852 pounds with a 56/44 – front/rear weight distribution split.

The car is further equipped with massive 15-inch Brembo vented brake rotors, six-piston calipers, and 13.8-inch vented rotors. Under the aluminum hood, there are blue powder-coated valve covers, a massive blower, and a large cold-air intake.
