Since its very introduction, Cadillac CTS was offered in a diversity of versions. There was a sedan, a station wagon, and a coupe.

Now, the all new ATS will undergo the same process. A sedan and a coupe version will be available first, the station wagon version and a convertible will join in the mix.

What exactly triggers this decision? Americans have a great need of cheaper version to German coupes. So, Cadillac is prepared to serve that to them. The company will definitely get its money`s worth.

The ATS Coupe will be uncovered for the 2014 model year and everything will be practically based on the sedan version, excluding just the sedan’s two rear doors. The same active shutter grille, LED-infused headlights, integrated trunk spoiler, vertical taillights, and chrome trim will be adjusted.

The Coupe will make a sportier version of the sedan.

The ATS Coupe will be placed on the same rear-wheel-drive Alpha platform. It will come in the following versions: a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder with 200 horsepower, a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder with 270 horsepower, and a 3.6-liter, V-6 with 318 horsepower. Either a six-speed manual transmission will be wired or an automatic one. An all-wheel-drive system will be optional as well.

This outrageous Cadillac will make a strong competitor to BMW and Audi.
