If there is something that movies and TV series have taught us, it is that the apocalypse will be full of total destruction; pitfalls, inhospitable environments, hostile people and unpredictable situations. It is such a pity that there isn’t anything indestructible out there…or is there? Well, actually there is. And that my dear friends is the 1988 Toyota Hilux.

The humble and inoffensive 1988 Toyota Hilux has seen and survived the worst that life can throw at this truck. The Hilux has crashed into a tree, set on fire, been submerged in the ocean, and placed on top of a tower block which was then destroyed. And still it kept on running. Plus, the farmer’s favorite choice is a pickup truck, which means it has the added benefit of being capable to carry people or goods in the back.
