ULTRA TOUGH Oshkosh HET M1070 MILITARY TRUCK Used For Wood Transport! WATCH THIS MIGHTY MONSTER IN ACTION!

This powerful and large military truck named Oshkosh HET M1070 found its purpose not in military but in wood transporting. The HET is a shortcut for Heavy Equipment Transporter and it really justifies the name. It can carry loads up to 70 tons, it was used primary for transporting the heavy tanks named Abrams and also for large military equipment such as forklifts and tracked vehicles.

It can operate on highway ( if it has the permit to do so ) , it can go on secondary roads and also and most common on the cross-country roads. The HET M1070 has a front and rear axle steering, equipped also with Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) and cabin space which can be used by six persons – two HET operators and four crewmen.

The HET truck has a weight of massive 41000 pounds and exceeds the length of 30 feet and 2 inches with height of 12 feet and 1 inch.

All this metal and stunning construction is powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 92 8v92 engine which can produce maximum of 500 horsepower. It is more than enough to carry the load of the truck itself and a plus load of 70 tons.
