Three years ago, on March 11, 2011, in the north-east part of Japan a terrible earthquake of magnitude 9.0 occurred, which received the official name of the “Great East Japan Earthquake.” An earthquake of such force, according to scientists, occurs in this country no more than once in 600 years.
The earthquake caused the largest tsunami that has covered a total area of 561 square kilometers, which corresponds to 90% of the 23 special districts that make up the core of Tokyo. The number of dead and missing exceeded 20 thousand people. About 93% of those killed were victims of a giant wave.
An earth-shattering catastrophe like this was the main reason for bunch of people to gather around and organize this great drifting event called Drift Drifting Japan Charity Event. People at this event saw a lot of great drifting cars, including the legendary Toyota Corolla AE86, live performances, DJ sets, beautiful girls and plenty of fun and positive vibrations. My words to this is : great job guys. Thumbs up for you!
Enjoy watching this great drifting performance! 🙂
