We are already nostalgic for V8s because many of the manufacturers started to replace them with turbocharged V6 engines. They are still on sale, but they have been retired slowly, so their existence is questioned, green regulations are taking their part.
One of the rare cars that is still carrying V8 engine is Chrysler 300c SRT8. Under the long hood is a 6.4-liter HEMI beast, the sound of which with the standard exhaust pipes will amaze you. But, to be honest expecting a lion’s roar and you get just an angry cat is quite a shame right?
People want to hear the angry V8 engine more often.
If you own one of these, you should consider replacing the standard exhaust with some aftermarket products out there. We suggest GTC Roar Series System from Meisterschaft, just few more lines bellow in the video you will see and hear it “singing” badly.
After 17 seconds of boring intro starts the 300c SRT8 sound in stock form, and to be honest it’s not to bad. But after the beast unleashes… pure sound with the tricked out pipes with its loud valves closed! We were asking ourselves, why the auto makers are not investing in this kind of exhausts? Instead of adding sound generators blasting through the speakers?
