The first GT-R’s were manufactured in 1969. After some time, in 1989 this super car revived its name with the Skyline R32. The Skyline GT-R became the flagship of Nissan performance.
Today the Nissan Skyline GT-R is used in many touring-car, sports-car, production-car, rallying and drag races… In this drag race today we see a black Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R built by the Australian tuning shop Croydon Racing Developments, that simply dominates the track. With a top speed of 162 mph it made a 8.95 second pass on the Sydney Dragway, which is really impressive. From just looking at the R32 GT-R Skyline we can see that the owner has made some changes and I believe that he has done some tuning to the engine as well. On the back of the Nissan there is a little parachute for helping the car to stop after the race, which was added by the owner. About the other changes, I can’t say anything because I don’t have any information, but as I said before the owner has made some serious tuning to this Nissan. The start of the race was just perfect for the Nissan. The Skyline simply launched itself like a rocket, accelerating really fast.
I hope in the future we see more Nissans like this, made and tuned for drag racing.
