Born on September 2, 1964, in Beirut, Lebanon, he is an actor, a director and musician. He got famous after starring in Bill and Ted Franchise (1989-1991), action thrillers Point Break (1991) and Speed (1994). After that he got his role in the science fiction-action The Matrix (1999-2003).

He made his appearance also in some dramatic movies like Dangerous Liaisons, My Own Private Idaho and Little Buddha.

But where is his courtesy coming from? After his parents divorced when he was only three years old, Keanu moved to Sydney, Australia with his mother. After some time they moved again but this time they went to New York, USA. His mother got married with none other but Paul Aaron, a theater and a film director and moving again to Toronto before their divorce in 1971. Reeves settled down there but he likes to identify himself as Canadian to this day.

Reeves didn’t like the school too much, he attended four different high schools in the span of five years. As he said once in his speech he thought he got in the teachers way and they bounced him around. He didn’t like to study but he liked the ice rink in the school. He played hockey very well earning the nickname The Wall.

After a short time he appears in a Coca Cola commercial as a cyclist.
