The Porsche Ruf R Turbo 993 is not an ordinary car, its sinuous design attributes class and beauty to this revised model than the standard 1998 Porsche 993 .

Ruf Automobile GmbH is a German automobile manufacturer specialized in the development, processing and tuning of Porsche models; when the original comes to the house, Ruf installs many components of its own manufacture, changes the engine thus increasing the performance and it is for this reason that Ruf is recognized by the German government as a manufacturer.

Unfortunately, one of these beautiful, rare and expensive pieces has been the subject of attention in a drive organized by members of the group Rennlist which was held in California, specifically in the Bay of San Francisco, not only for beauty and rarity, but because it was involved in an accident at the entrance of a curve, colliding with a GMC Sierra in transit; a third vehicle, a Porsche 997 Carrera, who was participating in the drive, has buffered sideways into the Ruf R Turbo 993, because it followed it few meters away and so the impact was inevitable.

The drivers were subjected to a security check-up performed in the hospital, but fortunately no injuries were reported.

There was serious damage, however, for the Porsche Ruf R Turbo 993, which must be subjected to a long and delicate restoration, which will allow it to be put back on track as soon as possible, while minor damage shall be borne by the Porsche 997 Carrera.
