Italian elegance versus angry German, sounds intriguing doesn’t it? Yeah, if we consider the two drag racing cars, MTM Audi RS6 700 hp versus stock Ferrari FF, are both expensive and powerful models.
On first view you’ve might thought that the angry German will spank the little, elegant Italian on the rear, but that’s not true, the results are sometimes unexpected.
The original RS6 Audi uses 5-liter V10 engine from Lamborghini with twin-turbo which produces 580hp and 650Nm. Thanks to the famous Audi Quattro system (all-wheel drive) this car accelerate from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in incredible 4,6 seconds. This model in the drag race is on steroids, tuned by MTM and as they claim, has 700 hp and 785 Nm, astonishing numbers that can do miracles with this more than two tons car.
On the other side we had the elegant Italian seducer, Ferrari FF which comes with its stock performance, 6.2-liter V12 engine which is producing 660hp and 683 Nm and it’s 200 kg less in weight than the Audi.
If we look in the numbers and use logic, then without watching the video we can nominate the winner, the Audi… But the little, elegant Italian showed his mighty side. Sometimes the numbers are just numbers.
