In the summer of 1989, Batman, resting on roles in movies, again appeared in the feature-length movie film with unpredictable title “Batman.” Director Tim Burton and production designer Anton Furst had to turn over all representations of Batman. Burton – an extravagant personality had a vision of what should happen on the screen. Furst kept up with the director.
He was made up to the task – he must make a Batmobile, which would not be unlike anything that comic book readers and viewers of serials and films had seen before. This was to be a combination of brute force and classic design aesthetic.
