That is how a documentary called The Fires of Kuwait was born by the tech-savvy gurus from Gizmodo. In it, there is a complete chronicle of events was documented and amongst the other, the unbelievable methods and machines that were used in the fights with ignited oil wells.

In one part of this documentary (completely shot in IMAX, the narration was by the actor Rip Torn) the main focus is on these innovation machine, created and constructed by the Hungarian team. Their incredible work of using fixed decommissioned Mig Jet Fighter engines on top of a Russian T-27 tank is one f the very best parts.

This improvised machine that was making funny sounds was very impressive, both for its creativity and simplicity. And it is not all that complicated (except maybe the combination of jet engine and tank), the method is simple: start up the engine and fires are getting blown like small candles. It is really worth checking it out!
