The man who won the GT2 Class at Le Mans in 1998, Justin Bell decided to find out who is the fastest sedan car in the world by running 6 super-sedans through 3 tests. The first two tests will eliminate a total of 4 cars, leaving only two for the final top speed match.
The first one is a 0-60 test, so Justin took all 6 cars, divided them in two groups of three sedans, and run each group. The car that would lose in each group was eliminated. In the second test that was done on a standing 1/4 mile each of the two groups of two sedans ran, and the one that lost in each group was also eliminated. The final test took the final two sedans that battled in a top speed match.
Justin Bell used the following cars in the test: Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, BMW M5, Mercedes S65, Jaguar XJR, Cadillac CTS-V and Aston Martin Rapide S.
The interesting thing about this test was the fact that these were all very different cars with interesting specifications. Some of them are faster to 60 than other but slower in the 1/4 mile. On the other hand, some cars are faster to 60 and in the 1/4 mile but with lower top speeds. So it actually turned out to be quite an interesting matchup.
