There are some really good looking cars out there, and there are others, state of the art perfections and out-of-this-world beauties, a real mind-blowers for which we can hardly find words to describe them. This 1972 Dodge Charger Special Edition that you are about to see in today’s video, is most definitely from the latter category. It is the car that was awarded with “2011 Cruizin for Life Best Muscle Car”, and in only in a few moments, you will see why is that.
The Special Edition Charger is primarily notable for its hideaway headlights, the full moldings, vinyl top, and many other things that make it stand out from the other Chargers from that period. But this particular example of 1972 Dodge Charger SE is full with so many details, so that one would not know where to begin with, and where to end. That is why I’m going to stay with the most important things under the hood.
Powered by the powerful 7.2 liter 440 cubic inch V8 motor, mated to a Tremec TKO 500 transmission, with a Hurst shifter and hydraulic clutch, this car is really power, not just great looking. When this video was recorded and published, it was put up for a sale, for just $33 000, but what happened afterwards, I really cannot tell you.
So just check the video and see what an award winning muscle car looks like.
