Check out this incredible small army of old tractors. Five farm tractors with kerosene-burning engines were pulling a bottom plow on this field changing history forever. Due to this event, a new world record was set on 1 August 2010 down at Austin in Manitoba, Canada over 70 wide. The bottom plow was pulled by five Model “E” 30-60 farm tractors of the Rumely Oil Pullwell brand built from 1910 to 1923. Well the fourth one out in the front did not pull that much. I guess he had a bad day 🙂 lol.
But the rest of his buddies were quite good and finished the job perfectly. Who says that you have to be modern and well equipped to get the tough job done? Sometimes all you need to do is show some strong muscles baby. And these five steam tractors did just that. Incredible machines serving as a solid proof for reliable and solid quality. Can you imagine they were built a century ago?!
To make things even more interesting, the guys planned to use only four tractors in the first place, but the conditions prevented them from doing so, so they had to add a fifth one. Quite ambitious don’t you think?
