The 2011 SEMA Auto Show was definitely honoring Camaros and Mustangs. A great variety of tuning packages were offered at the show. Among them, there was the Goolsby Customs “Pegasus” tuning package for the 1971 Mustang. This company`s products show that an oldie can still be a goodie.
Once a classic is touched, the original parts are almost obsolete. The Pegasus has definitely gone through a detailed makeover. A new chassis from Fast Track Mustang was adjusted. It was produced by the Roadster Shop. The front is six inches-short, while the rear end has got a pass-through spoiler. There are new Nutek wheels along with Wilwood brakes.
The prior 4.1 liter motor was supplanted by a new 5.0 liter V8 Coyote engine. Sean Hyland Motorsports especially designed a new Ford 6R80 6-speed automatic gearbox.
