In traditional tractor meeting in Burkhardtsdorf there is always some time for a big Russian Antonov radial engine.
Characteristic to radial engines is the big smoke on startup, because a larger amount of oil goes into the lower cylinder, which is then burned.
The sound was deafening as always. This is what 30L 1000 hp engine sounds like. I just love all of that incredible power. Enjoy this show!

Should it not be driving a cut-off prop to provide some cooling air, or does that not matter on short runs only..? Love it….!!
