The legendary Corvette engineer Zora Arkus Duntov use to say “bigger is better”, and while he was in charge in Chevrolet’s department of Corvette engineering, cubic inches in Corvettes engine were growing like crazy and so was the success of the legendary vehicle as well.

This incredibly creative man retired when in the year of 1975, right after petroleum “squeezing” had began, which turned out to be a perfect thing for a man who likes strong power hell of a lot more than saving gas. If Zora was working today, he just like anyone else would have had to squeeze his tail between the legs because of horsepower castration of the engines.
